TROLL 2 is INSUFFERABLE

Troll 2 is insufferable. I went in hoping for a proper Nordic monster throwdown, but instead I got a movie that tiptoes around its own troll like it’s scared to wake it up. Almost no action, weak characters, and a final battle that’s over before it even starts.

I fell asleep twice during this movie and had to rewatch parts because I thought I missed thirty minutes… turns out I didn’t.

If you want a troll movie that actually knows what it’s doing, watch Trollhunter (2010). It’s shaky cam, yes, but the story, the trolls, and the monster action actually deliver where Troll and Troll 2 completely fail.
