Illegal Aliens Climb On The Roof During Border Patrol Raid In New Orleans Area

What started as a what Border Patrol says was a “consensual encounter” turned unstable very quickly in the New Orleans area.

Border Patrol approached several men working on a roof—Some of them ran, others pulled up ladders to prevent agents from apprehending them. At one point one of the confirmed illegal immigrants dumped a bucket of nails towards agents and wielded scrap metal displaying what the agency calls pre-assaultive indicators.
One illegal immigrant was taken into custody. The two on the roof who refused to come down are now considered targets.

Statement via Border Patrol: “On December 3, 2025, Border Patrol Agents conducting immigration enforcement as part of Operation Catahoula Crunch near Kenner, Louisiana that resulted in the arrest of an illegal alien that has broken the immigration laws of our country.

During the encounter, several suspected illegal aliens climbed on the roof of a residential home and refused to comply with agent commands to come down off the roof.

For the safety of everyone involved in this rapidly evolving law enforcement situation, the determination was made to pursue the subjects on the roof at a later time and place. Border Patrol Agents cleared the scene without further incident.”
