This official training DVD presents the essential Level 1 curriculum of the Modern Army Combatives Program (MACP), the battle-proven hand-to-hand combat system developed for the U.S. Army. The program is taught by its acclaimed founder, Sergeant First Class (Ret) Matt Larsen, widely known as the "Father of Modern Army Combatives." A decorated combat veteran, former Army Ranger, and Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame instructor, Larsen established the U.S. Army Combatives School at Fort Benning and authored the official field manuals. He currently serves as the Director of Combatives at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
