Guitarist Jack Frost (Night Terror, Seven Witches, Aldo Nova) sits down with We Go to 11 to talk about the creation of Night Terror’s debut EP, the decision to officially put Seven Witches to rest, and why this new project has earned some of the best reviews of his entire career.

Jack breaks down how the EP came together, why these songs were originally meant for Seven Witches, and how teaming up with Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys, Watchtower, Broken Teeth) brought the music into a new era. He also discusses the band’s lineup, future touring possibilities, and the chance of mixing Night Terror material with deep cuts and medleys from the members’ storied careers.

The conversation dives into the return of vinyl, the value of shorter EPs over bloated albums, and the joy of discovering music through artwork — from WASP to Accept, Mercyful Fate, Queensrÿche, and more. Jack also shares the story behind Night Terror’s cover of UFO’s “Lights Out”, how he approached honoring Michael Schenker, and what it was like performing the song on the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise.

And of course — it wouldn’t be We Go to 11 without a Spinal Tap moment. Jack closes the interview with a hilarious (and painful) story about snapping the neck of his brand-new Hamer guitar onstage during his record-release show, only for the crowd to think it was the coolest thing they’d ever seen.

If you’re a fan of Night Terror, Seven Witches, Armored Saint, Dangerous Toys, or classic heavy metal, this is one you don’t want to miss.
Turn it up — because we go to 11.
