Shango: When the Sky Chooses a King

Before there was thunder as sound… there was thunder as judgment.

Shango was once a man—king, warrior, conqueror. But power like his does not remain mortal for long. Through fire, lightning, and pride, he rose beyond flesh and became the Yoruba god of thunder and justice.

This is the story of a ruler who commanded the storm…
lost everything to his own fire…
and still speaks every time the sky splits open.

Because some gods do not live in temples.
They live in the weather.

The sky remembers.
The thunder still answers.
Shango never truly left.
