AI - To Cheer or To Fear?

Believe it or not, the origin of Artificial Intelligence goes back 100 years! But even with it's long history, there is no doubt that it has exploded and surged forward in the last 10 years. Some say AI poses a fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization. Others say with AI, we are summoning the demons. Still others say there is a good chance that AI will be beneficial for everyone. And then there’s those in the middle who say AI will be the best thing and worst thing for humanity. Who's right; and how should Christians respond to and approach the use of Artificial Intelligence?
