WHEN THE MIGHTY ARE ON TOP, WE’RE ON THE BOTTOM
Mark Zuckerberg has abandoned those values he once proclaimed.

It’s sad to see what is happening in Facebook®, especially with the little things. It’s the compilation of those “little things” that bring down any firm or organization. It matters not how lofty or high-minded Mr. Zuckerberg was at Facebook’s inception, just look at him now.

My particular gripe this time is an unwelcome change in how posts are viewed on Facebook. Not too long ago content providers could click on the corner of their posts and see what sort of traffic they were having. Knowing how many views your post has had is a way of steering future content to better answer viewers’ wants.

That ability, to see how many views you’ve had, has been stripped away. It seems Facebook doesn’t want us to know how much traffic we are having and I wonder why that is. It seems counterproductive for them to kick their content providers in the nuts.

I am more than a little confused at this, but then who am I? I’m just another of hundreds of thousands of lowly little content providers. I mean nothing to them, and that really sucks in so many ways, on so many levels and in so many dimensions.
