Hey everyone — it’s Leaflit! In this video, I’m reacting to a fiery Matt Walsh clip where he claims that Dearborn, Michigan has become an Islamic capital on American soil. He argues that Muslim-majority influence in Dearborn is growing fast, not just culturally but politically — and that this is a real threat to the traditional American identity.

I’m with him on many of these points. As Christians (and Americans) who care about preserving our cultural roots, we have to speak up when a community refuses to adapt and starts to dominate civic life without compromise. Here’s what’s really going on — and why this shouldn’t be brushed off:

Refusal to integrate: There are loud calls to prayer in Dearborn, sometimes broadcast via loudspeakers starting as early as 5:30 a.m. — and many longtime residents say it's disrupting their lives.

Political power grabbing: With Mayor Abdullah Hammoud (an Arab-American Muslim) running the city, critics like Walsh worry that Dearborn’s leadership is more about cultural consolidation than serving all citizens.

Ignoring complaints: When residents call out the call-to-prayer noise — some recordings reportedly breaking 70 decibels — instead of taking real action, the mayor defends it by citing “freedom of religion” and saying it’s old tradition.

The police and political leadership: If cultural change is being pushed, where is the enforcement of local norms? Leaders aren’t just tolerating this shift, they’re backing it, while many Christians and long-term residents feel their values are being erased or minimized.

Loyalty to Christian Americans: We have to defend our heritage, our traditions, and our right to live in a country shaped by Christian principles — and it’s not extreme to demand that new communities also respect that history.

Bottom line:

Yes, religious freedom is a cornerstone of America — but freedom does not mean domination.

If a faith community grows politically and culturally, they need to earn trust, not steamroll over existing citizens.

Christians, patriots, and traditional Americans have every right to worry when a city changes so rapidly without shared civic respect.

If you care about preserving American identity, about Christians being heard, and about the danger of unchecked cultural shifts — like, subscribe, and hit the bell. I want to hear from you: Is Dearborn being “Islamized” in a way that undermines American values — or is this just fear-mongering? What should real integration look like?
