Posted • November 24, 2025: In today's hyper-partisan political climate, there isn't much wiggle room for anyone to claim. You are either on one side or the other. However, there are a few exceptions, such as comedian Bill Maher, who are willing to put many of their political differences aside and have rational conversations with those they disagree with. Maher may have been one of the last people we might have thought of as willing to do that. But at the end of the day, even the most seemingly intellectually honest among us are on one side or the other. On Monday, Fox News host and First Daughter-in-Law Lara Trump appeared with Bill Maher on his "Club Random" podcast. Maher has never been a fan of President Donald Trump, but he has also been a harsh critic of the Left over their pathological hatred of Trump. https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1992967749602074624/vid/avc1/1920x1080/XNhaXzn4dtSV1hSl.mp4

Maher brushed off the suggestion, saying, “Oh, please." Lara Trump proceeded to lay out just how different it has been.

“Really? When did you see Obama and Clinton’s residences, personal private property, raided by the FBI? When did they have indictments against them to put them in jail for the rest of their life that everybody can agree were a little outrageous, Bill? Like, really?” —— When Maher couldn't answer that question, he launched into the claim that Trump asked Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to "find votes" after the 2020 election, as the reason that no one went after Bill Clinton or Barack Obama "for certain things." Lara Trump then brought up Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's report, outlining Obama's involvement in the Trump campaign and transition teams being spied on, and also being instrumental in the Russia collusion hoax. Maher did his best to imply that the allegations against Trump were all true, even when Lara Trump emphatically stated that none of them were. (…)
