The United Nations tested a cashless society concept at their annual COP30 climate summit, prohibiting anyone from using cash or credit cards, explains The New American's correspondent Andrew Muller. If you loaded the card with $200 and only spent $150, Muller explained, the UN would not allow you to access your remaining balance unless you registered with your passport and applied for a refund. This system is not only inconvenient but also illustrates the forthcoming digital and financial gulag that the United Nations and World Economic Forum are preparing for humanity through Central Bank Digital Currencies, where cash and privacy no longer exist.
