Owen 6y A868927@TRN, from kennel 164 PACC shelter allowing me 2 touch his back as he ate20251123512

Owen is pretty picky with me about the snacks he will eat that I offer him. That is why I was kinda surprised when he grabbed a greenies treat and started to chew on it. Most doggies don't really seem care much for the greenies chews by themselves. The morsel he took from me is greenie, looks like a toothbrush and supposedly is good for freshening the doggies breath and cleaning their teeth. Owen munched on this snack while he let me pet his back for a good while. Owen didn't appear to like eating the standard kibble, jerky treat pieces or dentastix, so you can't win them all. Owen didn't look like he minded jumping down off of the sofa and searching for treats I tossed here and there on the floor throughout his kennel. This was also good for Owen because then he was able to get a lovely drink of water whenever he wished. Owen is a loving doggie and I am very happy in my heart that he is starting to trust me more and let me touch him sometimes even when he has food💗 Trust is a big deal in a doggie relationship💞
