Hassett Highlights Impact of Trump’s Policies on September Job Surge

Kevin Hassett stated that the economic results for September were exceptionally strong, describing them as “off the charts.” Although such a significant surge is unusual, he explained that the details of the report reveal clear evidence that President Donald Trump's policies are bearing fruit.

Hassett highlighted a notable increase in the number of construction workers. According to him, this growth is directly linked to Trump’s decision to allow cost deductions for the construction of new factories. In September alone, eleven major companies began building new plants and hired construction workers for those projects.

The economist emphasized that this momentum will have lasting effects, as those factories will later be filled with workers and begin production, further strengthening the economy. Trump’s strategy of bringing production back to the United States and creating well-paid jobs was clearly reflected in the report, surprising even experts who had long been critical of his policies.
