Episode 1375: Is Jesus Christ really God? Part 2

Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we go back to the book of Revelation and the church at Pergamos.

What we witness is that there is the infection of false teachers that have infiltrated the assembly. This was a terrible disease and if it not taken care of, the rot of that disease will spread throughout the entire body, rendering it ineffective and ultimately lead to its death.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, Kevin. The church of Christ can't die. Have you not read what our Lord declared to Peter and the disciples.

Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Do you see that, Kevin? Yes, I did however in the plan of God that's exactly what is going to happen. The Lord reveal this to the same disciples in Matthew 13 that there will be this woman who represents false religion, who will plant three measures of meal, which is the sin of false man made religion, into the church and infect the entire organized church.

The Parable of the Leaven
(Luke 13:20, 21)
33 Another parable He spoke to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.”

Do you mean that Believers will be deceived and follow a false religion led by a false Christ? No, that's not what I said. The Lord stated that He will remove the restrainer of evil which is Christ in us through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit from the world.

This will allow the woman to form Babylon the Great, the end time religion that dominates the world through her harlots, various forms of religions just like at the tower of Babel.

Friend this is glorious as the LORD God has already revealed these things to us. The question is, who is this LORD God? We know Him as Christ Jesus the only true, living, and wise God and our Savior.

How did this Man become God? Oh my friend, that's the wrong question. The question is how did Christ the visible part of the invisible God become a Man?
