FDAs NDT Ban: Writing my Congressmen & Filing a Complaint with the Attorney General, & Exhaustion

FDAs NDT Ban: I’ve drafted letters to the state of Georgia’s House Representatives, Rich McCormick and Ralph Warnock, and Senator Jon Ossoff, urging them to take action against the NDT ban to keep this medication available.

I’ve also drafted a letter to the Attorney General, Christopher Carr, to file a formal complaint for the deprivation of patients' rights by a government authority in regards to the FDA's potential NDT ban. The FDAs actions have created medical deprivation by denying patients access to a medicine that they need to uphold their quality of life, economic harm by forcing patients to seek costly, compounded, or imported alternatives often without medical insurance, violation of patient autonomy by interfering with the doctor-patient relationship and the patients right to make informed medical decisions, and administrative overreach by a government authority because the FDAs decision goes against scientific evidence and clinical experience.

It is my hope that my words will be heard. These letters will go out this week, and I will be sharing any updates here on my channel. If you would like to write your government officials, please visit savendt.org, select the Write Your Congressmen option, and follow the prompts. It's a simple process and includes access to letter templates. I firmly believe that unless we demand it, our medical system will not change. So, I hope you'll join me.

Stress and Exhaustion: I’ve had an extremely stressful week and have worked myself into a deep state of exhaustion. I’ve spent the last couple of days focusing on self-care and resting as much as possible.
