This is indeed a great question that needs a response because the subject of apostasy is mentioned time and again in the media. The short answer to this question is an emphatic “no”. Let me explain further.

Apostasy, or denouncing one’s religion, is unfortunately taken as a punishable offense by many Islamic scholars, even though those who propound this view are unable to quote a single Quranic verse or Hadith to support it. The fact is that while recanting Islam is a sin, there is absolutely no worldly punishment prescribed by Islam for it. Islam places great stress on freedom of conscience, including the freedom to choose one’s religion, as one of the fundamental rights of all human beings. The Quran clearly states, “There should be no compulsion in religion” (2:257); and also “It is the truth from your Lord; wherefore let him who will believe and let him who will disbelieve” (18:30). These verses prove that man is free to choose the religion that makes him happy, and that rejecting Islam is not a crime.

Unfortunately, the punishment of apostasy has now become death, even though this menacing concept does not claim a single Quranic verse as evidence. In fact, although the subject of apostasy has been brought up several times in the Quran, no mention has ever been made of its punishment. In verse 3 chapter 145 God states “He who turns back on his heels shall not harm Allah a whit” – a clear indication that apostasy has no need for punishment. Similarly, Chapter 2 verse 109 states: “Whoever takes disbelief in exchange for belief has undoubtedly gone astray from the right path” – again no mention of a punishment. Nor is there evidence of such punishments in the life and practice of the Prophet Muhammad, the one to whom the Quran was revealed and who portrayed a perfect example of Islamic teachings. The Prophet never ordered anyone to be killed for apostasy; the few capital punishments that occurred during his time were a result of treason and colluding with the enemy in matters of the state.

The only punishment described in the Quran for denouncing Islam is that which rests with God Almighty: “Those who believe, then disbelieve, then again believe, then disbelieve and then increase in disbelief, Allah will never forgive them nor will He guide them to the right way. (4:138)”. Nothing else is needed.

Despite the fact that this type of marriage is not authorized nor mentioned in the Quran, those who legalize it base their justification on a manipulated interpretation of some words in 4:24 (analyzed below). To research this type of marriage in the light of the Quran, the following issues need to be addressed:

FIRST

God would never advocate sin (7:28), not plain sin nor disguised sin (6:120). Anyone who writes a temporary marriage certificate for the sake of sexual activities is trying to disguise his sin. In fact, he would not be any different from someone who hires a prostitute for a period of time for sexual services. The only difference is that the first man is hiding behind a piece of paper that is no more than a sham marriage certificate. However, the two acts are identical in purpose and execution.

This immoral type of marriage violates the concept, the rules and the purpose of marriage as designed by God.

God ordained marriage to be a lasting union between man and woman. The lasting nature of marriage in God's eyes is made clear when we consider all the conditions which God placed before a divorce can be executed.

The Quran places the following conditions before a divorce can be executed:

1- The couple must wait 4 months (cooling-off period) before committing to divorce (2:226)
2- The couple must seek a council from the 2 families and genuinely attempt to reconcile (4:35)
3- If the couple still wish to go ahead with the divorce, the divorce does not become lawful unless it is witnessed by two equitable people (65:2).
4- The wife should not be evicted from the marriage home unless she commits a gross sin (65:1)
5- The man must pay the divorced wife a divorce compensation (2:241)
6- The man must pay for his children's alimony and also for the divorced wife's food and clothing throughout the suckling period, which can be up to 2 years (2:233)

There is nowhere in the Quran that says that any of the above conditions can be broken under certain circumstances. In effect, it is impossible to fulfil all these conditions in the case of a temporary marriage. For example, how can a couple who draw a temporary marriage for the duration of two weeks after which the marriage is automatically dissolved wait for four months before being allowed to divorce? The terms of their temporary marriage state that it is dissolved after two weeks. Equally, will the couple who set up a temporary 'marriage for sex' arrangement for a week or two seek a council from their two families before they end the marriage as the Quranic rules dictate?

The farcical automatically timed divorce drawn in a temporary marriage contract violates all the conditions which God placed before a divorce can be executed.

SECOND

Some who justify the 'mutaa marriages' say that not everyone is able to get married, this could be for financial reasons or other reasons. Thus they claim that this type of marriage would be an alternative for them.

When we read the Quran we find that God has already considered this situation and God gives the righteous solution for those who do not have the means to get married in the following verse:

Those who cannot find the means to get married shall maintain morality until God enriches them from His favour. 24:33

Maintaining morality is the instruction decreed by God. So those who for any reason do not have the means to get married should maintain their chastity until God provides for them.

Those who engage in temporary marriages, and fool themselves by saying "it is legally drawn up" are violating the command in 24:33.

THIRD

Others have claimed that temporary marriages are a cheap and lawful way to vent the human sex drive. This is also far from the truth.

The large majority of women who engage in such marriages are paid large sums of money for their services. As a result, temporary marriages are often enjoyed by rich men, with many of them already married. They are men who just wish to enjoy a bit more sex on the side. They fool themselves by claiming that it is allowed by God.

In contrast, poor men do not have the means to pay these large sums, so they are not the ones who engage in such marriages.

In addition, if these farcical marriages are ways to gratify a man's sex drive (as some scholars justify), and since the man's sex drive is not likely to die after the 2 weeks of marriage, would the man need to keep getting temporarily married?

FOURTH

Others have said that some couples are not resorting to this type of marriage just for sexual reasons but because they are genuinely in love but do not have the means to get married in the conventional way. They add that this would be a good solution for them.

The question is: If this couple are genuinely in love, why would they want their marriage to be temporary? Will they have to kill their love after 2 weeks?

FIFTH

When we come to the verse which is the subject of the manipulation (4:24), we need to read the words carefully and verify how accurate the claims are:

Beyond those, all others are permitted for you, so long as you employ your money for marriage purposes and not for illicit sex. Those among them who are pleasing to you, you shall pay them their decreed dowries. There is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree upon beyond the obligation. God is Knowledgeable, Wise. 4:24

- When God says, "employ your money for marriage purposes and not for illicit sex." God is speaking about God’s definition of marriage and not the "illicit sex" which is the convenient sex contract of temporary marriages.

The corruptors attempt to manipulate the words "Those among them who are pleasing to you, you shall pay them their decreed dowries" to claim that they mean pleasing in a sexual way.

But the whole concept of these verses (starting from 4:22) is marriage as authorized by God. What God is saying in 4:24 is that if a woman is pleasing to the man (as a partner), then he may marry her as long as he pays her the dowry.

To corrupt these words and make them mean that God is allowing men to have sex (with a fake temporary contract) is an insult to God and the righteousness which God advocates.

SIXTH

God tells us in 18:109 that He is not short of words, which means that God gives us all the details in clear words. If God deems that additional words are needed to make a meaning clear God would have added them, God is not short of words.

There is no mention of temporary marriages anywhere in the Quran. Has God forgotten to mention these marriages? The legalization of 'mutaa marriages' in some countries is based on the manipulation of Quranic verses such as 4:24.

Whatever they come up with, the fact will always remain that there are no words in the Quran which allow marriage to be drawn for a specified limited time in order to satisfy the sexual needs of the human being.

Any person, man or woman, who engages in such un-Quranic practices is in fact guilty of corrupting and manipulating God's words in order to indulge in sin. This type of marriage, which is no more than disguised prostitution, is one good example of what God calls disguised sin (6:120).

CONCLUSION

In view of the above considerations, it can be said without any shadow of doubt that a temporary marriage for the purpose of sexual activities is immoral and in violation of the laws of marriage and the laws of divorce as designed by God. The 'mutaa marriages' are no more than a sly attempt to ascribe legality to an act of paid sex. In other words, it is an attempt to legalize prostitution.

Whoever claims that this is made lawful by God is actually insulting God. God never advocates sin (7:28), thus God would never allow this arrangement. Those who claim legality to this act are saying nothing other than paying for sexual services is only haram when it is not accompanied by a contract. However, the same act is lawful as long as it is accompanied by a written contract.

They attempt to deceive God and those who believe, but they deceive none but themselves, and they do not realize it. 2:9

Consent in lawful sexual relations (that is, a valid marriage) is an important moral consideration in Islam. After all, marriage should be based upon love and mercy, as stated in the Quran, and part of a healthy sexual relationship is the mutual pleasure experienced by both parties. Any form of sexual violence has been and always will be unlawful in Islam.

The concept of ‘consent,’ however, has been transformed by modern developed secular liberal societies into not only a moral consideration, but the primary legal requirement that makes sex lawful. They no longer require a valid marriage contract for sex to be deemed legal and, in many places, adultery is no longer a crime.

Rochdale grooming gangs are known for the Rochdale child sexual abuse scandal which dates back to earlier than 2008. The grooming gangs largely comprised of men of Pakistani descent, who raped young girls and supplied them to their connections further to be raped and abused for years. The organized gangs continue to be active to this day.

The Rochdale scandal came at a time when the UK was still struggling to crack down on the paedophilic gangs of Rotherham, known for the Rotherham sexual abuse scandal, which was active from the 1980s to 2013. The paedophiles of Rotherham too were Pakistanis. Similarly, more than 1000 children were exploited in the Telford abuse scandal which went on for years as authorities turned a blind eye.

Rochdale, Rotherham, Oxford, Telford, Leeds, Birmingham, Norwich, Burnley, High Wycombe, Leicester, Dewsbury, Middlesbrough, Peterborough, Bristol, Halifax, Newcastle, Huddersfield, and Hull are only some of the regions in the United Kingdom where the largely Islamist grooming gangs freely went about their perversion.

The ongoing Rochdale trials continue to serve as a chilling reminder of the Rotherham horror even as political correctness has shielded the Islamists and delayed justice for victims. The leftist British media too has been complicit in this crime of diverting focus from the plight of the victims by brushing the Pakistani Muslim identity of the accused under the carpet.

The Islamist appeasers are complicit in denying justice to the victims and rubbing salt in their wounds when they cry racism every time the identity of the accused Pakistanis is revealed. Here is the two-part story of the scandals that gripped many British towns, and how delayed justice has exposed the Islamist apologists of “great” Britain.

Rochdale, Telford, Rotherham…or the entire UK?
It all began in the 1980s in the town of Telford. Vulnerable children as young as 11 were picked up, raped, beaten, sold, and killed by grooming gangs for a full forty years. The young girls were tossed from one rapist to another, most of whom were from the Muslim community of British Pakistani origins, and worked in an organized manner. Three girls were murdered and two others died in tragedies linked to the scandal. As many as 1,000 girls suffered in a town of 170,000 people.

A similar racket was unfolding in Rotherham parallelly. Around 1,500 girls were raped, abused, sold, and bought by men of Pakistani descent in a town of 260,000 people. Many victims were gang-raped. The abuse went on unabated from 1997 to 2013.

In Rochdale, the horror began in 2002. At least 47 young girls were subjected to abuse. Such has been the response of administrative and legal authorities that the grooming gangs continue to walk freely on the streets of “great Britain”.

Many victims were living under the care of social services. Young and impressionable girls from vulnerable backgrounds were the usual targets of the jihadi abusers who brainwashed their victims. A love/grooming jihad-like pattern had emerged wherein the victim was befriended by the abuser to gain her trust and manipulate her into believing the savages.

An investigation by the Newcastle police codenamed Operation Sanctuary was launched in 2013 and it revealed that more than 700 girls were reportedly enslaved and abused for years. Minor girls were taken to parties and ladened with drugs like cocaine, cannabis, alcohol, or mephedrone before being raped and abused. One of the victims was under the care of the Newcastle council when she was raped.

Those prosecuted were largely British-born Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Iraqi, Iranian, and Turkish, with the exception of one Indian, most were living in the West End of Newcastle. The conspirators not only perpetrated and abetted rapes but also arranged the transport of the victims to the rapists, arranged premises to perpetrate the crime, and dealt with drugs.

The gangs put their hands on every minor girl they could. In Huddersfield, one victim attempted suicide, another had an abortion, and two had learning disabilities. Despite the distressing nature of the crimes, the investigations have been so painfully slow that in Rochdale eight more men were charged as recently as on 27th July this year.

In Telford, the Pakistani perpetrators were running a rape house while they made the victims believe they were in love. They bought alcohol and cigarettes to lure the children. The accused working as taxi drivers or food delivery drivers would target the victims by offering them a lift, buying them fast food, and topping up their mobile phones to eventually make them believe that they were “lovers”.

Studies call this “the boyfriend method” or “the loverboy model”. It is better known as love jihad or grooming jihad in India wherein the accused is almost always a Muslim and the victim a non-Muslim and the act even has religious sanction.

What sends chills down the spine is the added vulnerability of the victims primarily due to an unbothered administration. Authorities in Telford came under heavy criticism for “ignoring” obvious signs of child sexual exploitation. Inquiry into the decades-long scandal revealed that probe agencies did not coordinate efficiently on the details of the cases. Some agencies also dismissed the exploitation and even blamed the victims while the accused jihadis were on the loose.

Furthermore, institutions and persons in professions that dealt with children were discouraged from reporting the abuse. Police and the Telford council “scaled down specialist teams to ‘virtual zero – to save money”. The inquiry findings say that this turning a blind eye to the cases only emboldened the rapists who continued to go on a spree despite some victims approaching the police. The extent of the assault was so damning that the abuses had become “a way of life to which they (the victims) had become accustomed”.

Threatening the victims with murder and threats of harming their families if they complained led many victims to suffer silently at the hands of the Islamists. The accused used the mind-boggling case of Lucy Lowe, who was murdered alongside her mother, sister, and unborn child in August 2000, to tell the other girls that they would meet the same fate if they spoke about the rapes to anyone. “Every boy (accused) would mention it”, the report read.

In a trial at the Worcester Crown Court, evidence showed that one victim was raped while she was four months pregnant. The report said that many of these crimes of brutal rape racket and murder could have been avoided had the “West Mercia Police done its basic job”.

The fact that this inquiry report on the Telford child sexual abuse racket was published only on 12 July 2022 proves just how lightly the cases were taken to be dragged for decades, delaying justice to the victims, and giving a free hand to the criminals.

For example, it was only this year that the Lancashire police admitted the possibility of a link between the disappearance and gruesome murder of Charlene Downes and grooming gangs. The 14-year-old’s body was allegedly minced into pieces and served as kebabs to customers at a takeaway restaurant in her hometown in Blackpool.

In Rotherham, the child sexual abuse scandal had been running for three decades until the 2012 trial which brought it to light. This was followed by an expose of how the authorities put a lid on the cases for years.

It took a public outcry for the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council to commission an independent inquiry in October 2013. In at least two cases where the fathers approached the police, they ended up being arrested themselves while absolutely no action was taken against the perpetrators.

The inquiry report terms the number of victims (1,400) as a “conservative estimate” hinting that the actual scale of the exploitation could be far bigger. Victims were gang raped, raped by multiple men, trafficked to other towns and cities in the north of England, abducted, beaten, and intimidated.

“There were examples of children who had been doused in petrol and threatened with being set alight, threatened with guns, made to witness brutally violent rapes and threatened they would be next if they told anyone”, the report reads. It further added that the abuse was still continuing.

According to the report, the perpetrators usually targeted children’s residential units and residential services for caregivers. Victims from dysfunctional families in need of attention and affection were often the easy targets. They were picked up by taxi drivers from outside homes, children’s shelters, and schools, which also raised alarms over the same.

The grooming began with a young boy who would first approach the victim and would befriend her over a period of time. The accused would then start introducing the victim to older men and distance them from their families and friends.

With technology, it got easier for jihadis to identify and target their victims. Some of these children were moved to accommodations where they became more vulnerable to the perpetrators. The unaffected approach of authorities abetted for decades the already long-running brutal gangrape of minors by British-Pakistani predators.

The 2013 report mentioned the shocking case of a 12-year-old victim who was made to have sex with five men but a Criminal Investigations Department officer claimed that it should not be categorized as sexual abuse because the girl had been “consensual in every incident”.

Despite there being evidence of child sexual exploitation from the beginning, the inquiry report mentioned that there was a “blatant collective failure of political and officer leadership”. The scale and seriousness of cases were downplayed by senior managers within the social care system, police did not act on the complaints of victims, and reports were suppressed leading to cover-ups.

In some cases, the victims were young boys, which was also underreported. “One young person told us that ‘gang rape’ was a usual part of growing up in the area of Rotherham in which she lived”, the report reads.

Another report published in August 2017 exposed how the victims were repeatedly let down by investigation agencies. It said that on several occasions, the police did not believe the victims. “They were threatened with wasting police time, they were told they had consented to sex and, on occasion, they were arrested at the scene of a crime, rather than the perpetrators.”

In Hull, the gangs targeted primary school girls as young as 9 years old. Jim Gamble, the former head of the child exploitation and online protection service in Hull, told Sky News, “It’s not just about exploitation, it is about rape by appointment.” Recalling the horror, one of the victims said, “I’ll never forget that girl I saw sat there in a primary school uniform, probably eight or nine years old. She was there with her sister, who was a little bit older, and I remember her screaming in that bedroom.”

Rochdale was witness to two child abuse scandals; one which started after 2000 and the second after 2010. In 2008, the case of the grooming gangs of Rochdale came to light only after the police received calls about a 15-year-old smashing a takeaway joint. At the outset, the cops dismissed the incident as an act of vandalism and arrested the teen.

In the course of her six-hour-long statement, the rape victim poured her heart out about the abuse she was being subjected to and the consequent act of vandalism was the release of pent-up frustration.

A grooming gang of nine pedophiles had repeatedly intoxicated, raped, and threatened the victim with violence, known as Girl A. She was driven to and from pedophiles across the north of England. Girl A was only one among many white girls to be abused at the hands of the barbarians.

One of the accused was a Muslim preacher while many others were married Pakistani men with children. At least 47 victims were identified. Victims were also used to recruit other girls for the violent sexual pleasures of the perpetrators. The victims were taken to rooms above takeaway shops, and driven across towns to be raped by gangs of Muslim men.

Police integrity, reliability, and credibility came under heavy fire when it was found that the Northumbria police in Newcastle paid £10,000 to a convicted child rapist in order to spy for them on the notorious network of rapists.

In Rochdale, a lackadaisical administration compelled whistleblower (Margaret) Maggie Oliver, a former cop with the Greater Manchester police investigating the abuses, to resign and turn campaigner to expose the full scale of the scandal, a work which she continues to this day. The pattern of crime resembled across cities as did the pattern of botched-up investigations, political correctness, victim shaming, and delayed justice. UK has sung “God Save The Queen” for a good 70 years and has made its colonies sing the same in the past centuries. Despite having snatched civilizations off of their resources, if this so-called developed nation cannot even muster the will to save its children, then God and God alone can save them; although their God too might have to fight a battle of his own with the accused who acknowledge no other God but their own. UK Grooming Gangs Part 2: Dear Islamist appeasers of the UK, it is not racist to establish the identity of rapists, but it is racist indeed to appropriate it. Dr. Hill pointed out that her white skin was always on the mind of her Muslim abuser. She revealed that grooming gangs viewed white girls as 'easy meat' because they sing, dance, and drink alcohol things considered 'immoral' and 'worthy of punishment (rape and beating in this case).'

In part one of the UK grooming gang series, we documented and compiled the details of the sinister Islamist grooming gangs across UK cities which preyed on minor girls, and sometimes even boys, who were mostly white.

There was an utter lack of sincerity and willingness across authorities and even on the part of elected representatives. The police and the administration’s take-for-granted attitude abetted the brutal gang rape and murder of Britain’s girls as they were treated like commodities for decades.

In part two of the UK grooming gang series, we will be exposing and commenting on the political correctness that ails ‘great Britain’ which kept the victims suffering at the hands of perpetrators. The report draws attention to the point that how being a mute spectator for the sake of political grandstanding has abetted the torture the victims were subjected to.

Besides negligence, one of the key detriments to justice was political correctness. The blatant denial by an entire administration right from care homes management, to the police, and government authorities added insult to injury. By all accounts and merits of the cases, most of the gang members were Muslims, of Pakistani descent.

Of the Muslims, most were British Pakistanis. And this very specific detail of the identity of the accused had the power to conceal the truth, to cast doubt on the truth, to alter the facts, to whitewash the crimes, to belittle the victims, and to render an entire police and legal administration blind, and powerless. Of the victims, most were white and some Asian.

Authorities didn’t act for fear of appearing racist
According to an 18-month-long investigation by the Sunday Mirror, Telford authorities refused to keep details of abusers for fear of “racism”. One of the victims, now in her 50s, said that she had reported the abuse to the council but believes no action was taken. Her doctor reportedly termed her “mentally ill” and said she should take medication.

A 2013 report published by the Telford and Wrekin Council read, “From the late 1990s professionals had concerns about the nature of some of the child sexual abuse cases presented to them.” Another UK media report on the Telford investigation says that “exploitation was not investigated because of nervousness about race”.

A witness account alleges that the police were too scared to question or challenge the perpetrators because of the ethnicity of the accused which put the cops at the risk of being labelled “racist”. There were also fears of racial tensions that could be flamed by “Asian men”.

Social workers who did attempt to report the crime were even sent for race relations courses and were threatened with disciplinary action if they didn’t refrain from mentioning the Pakistani identity of the accused.

So careful and mindful were the British local authorities that they even reportedly refrained from registering the ethnicity of the accused. 200 potential abusers were identified in Operation Chalice from 2010-2012 but merely nine have been jailed.

In September 2016, Conservative party MP Lucy Allan called for a public inquiry into the abuse cases but police and council officials in Telford wrote to then Home Secretary Amber Rudd saying this isn’t necessary.

An Independent Inquiry into the Telford Child Sexual Exploitation was published in 2022. It read, “The Inquiry heard that teachers with management responsibility had sought to raise the issue of child exploitation with Council officers, telling the Council that there is a problem in this authority with Pakistani youths – only to be accused of being racist by a Council officer.”

Witnesses also told the inquiry that the barbaric murder of Lucy Lowe was well-known in a particular school and kept the children in fear of speaking out. “Every single one [of] our girls that was involved with the Pakistani community in any kind of part of their lives that we might be concerned about, and might be talking to them about, they were all clamming up big time because,… Lucy had lost her life. And they knew…”

What is more damning is that these reports are far from being the first or second or even third. A number of inquiries were commissioned in the 1990s in Telford. One such report submitted on September 1999 read, “a lot of activity at [Premises A], Wellington involving Asian males and young girls [and] it is suspected that the girls are being used at [the] flat as prostitutes.”

“Two Pakistani men (I/D unknown) are ‘running’ two girls (prostitutes) from a flat… [in proximity to Premises A], Wellington. This has been going on for about 6 months. There are frequent male visitors to the flats… 6-7 men a day visit. There is a connection to [certain] telephone boxes within half a mile radius of Premises A”, the report read.

One of the Telford reports too has been criticized for repeatedly using the term “south Asian heritage”. In Rotherham, of all the cases, the ethnicity of the perpetrators was omitted in 67% of them.

Lucy was 16 years old when her abuser set her home on fire. Her mother and sister were killed in the incident. Though the accused taxi driver, identified as Azhar Ali Mehmood, was jailed by the court for the murder charges, he was never prosecuted for the sex offenses.

When Lucy was just 14 years old, she gave birth to a child. When she died, she was again pregnant. During the investigation, the chair found that one particular school was well aware of Lucy’s murder, and the children were intimidated from making any complaints about the matter. One of the witnesses said in a statement that the girls of that particular school were aware of Lucy’s murder and scared to talk about it.

In Newcastle in 2017, the then Chief Constable Steve Ashman of the Northumbria police, which was drawing flak for paying a convicted child rapist £10,000 to gather intel on the grooming gangs, said, “I don’t think it’s for me to point the finger at a particular community.” As for paying a convict, Ashman said he would do it again to get evidence against the accused.

Despite clear knowledge of the direct involvement of Pakistani grooming gangs, that the gruesome crime went on like business as usual is shocking, to say the least. Such has been the sheepish response from a country that a few decades ago practiced some sort of divine right on the colonies. It seems that once a ‘great’, Britain’s shoulders had become too droopy a long time ago to bear the “white man’s burden”.

When political grandstanding overpowered the truth
Political complicity in shielding the identity of the rapists, too, was exposed with the serious charges of deliberate ignorance leveled against the Rotherham council. The council was in blatant denial of the crimes even after a report was published detailing how it let down the victims. The town officials and the council, under the Socialist Labour Party, knew of the abuses for a full 16 years. Four of its members were removed by the party; two were Muslims.

Again, for some reason, the officials preferred being mute spectators to and abetting the gang rapes for the fear of being accused of “racism”. It was never lost upon anyone that the accused were mostly Pakistani Muslims. And it seems that the votes and public image mattered more than the lives of 1,500 girls of Rotherham (perhaps more).

Political aspirations were running so high that, according to this report, in 2012, the same ignorant officials removed foster children from a home in Rotherham because the foster parents belonged to the right-wing UK Independence Party (now Reform UK). This dangerous move put the lives of more children in peril as it came when the grooming gangs were still in their heyday.

The Rotherham council, according to the report, went to “considerable lengths” to cover up information. In 2015, then Communities Secretary Eric Pickles told the House of Commons that “some councilors have not lived up to the high standards expected of those in public life or their positions of responsibility.”

The rise of political opponents was a bigger concern for the local councils as they believed that “by opening up these issues they could be ‘giving oxygen’ to racist perspectives that might, in turn, attract extremist political groups and threaten community cohesion”.

But even the authors of some of the reports that have called out political correctness have at some point in the report based their concerns on their political preferences.

The author of the report exposing Rotherham council, former Victims’ Commissioner Louise Casey, wrote, “By failing to take action against the Pakistani heritage male perpetrators of CSE in the borough, the Council has inadvertently fuelled the far right and allowed racial tensions to grow, it has done a great disservice to the Pakistani heritage community and the good people of Rotherham as a result.”

“This has allowed perpetrators to remain at large, has let victims down, and perversely, has allowed the far right to try and exploit the situation. These may have been unintended consequences but the impact remains the same and reaches into the present day”, the report read.

Far-right activist and former leader of the English Defense League was jailed in 2019 for reportedly violating a reporting ban during a trial in one of the sexual exploitation cases in Old Bailey, the Central Criminal Court in London; a surprisingly prompt action as compared to grooming gangs. Robinson’s own cousin was a victim of the grooming gang.

In one of his Facebook posts, he said, “One of these sick child rapists is on the run in Pakistan because he was given bail! No bail for me though, they took me off the street and put me in prison for five hours but 10 mass child rapists with 15 witness statements of child rape spend a year walking the streets with your children because the establishment thought they posed no risk!’

His Facebook and Instagram account was, unsurprisingly, blocked by Meta. “Tommy Robinson’s Facebook Page has repeatedly broken these standards, posting material that uses dehumanizing language and calls for violence targeted at Muslims”, Facebook said in its statement.

Katie Hopkins, a far-right political commentator from UK known for her no holds barred opinions, wrote in 2017, “I have been criticized widely for discussing the subject on my show. Rounded on by liberals, accused of Islamophobia, of bias.”

Hopkins too, like many others, was reported to the cops by a Labour MP for equating Pakistani men with grooming gangs. She was banned from Twitter permanently for alleged “hate speech” in 2020.

Another feminist activist Julie Bindel said she has long found herself battling the cultural sensitivities of British officialdom. When reporting the story of a 14-year-old girl in Blackpool, Bindel was told by the police that they were “treading carefully” as far as the names of the perpetrators were concerned because they didn’t want to cause a “riot”.

However, even as Bindel’s intentions were no less than to help the victims get justice, her concerns too at one point had a political tone. “I argued, as an antiracist, that it was important that this issue was not pushed under the carpet, because if it were, then the likes of the [far-right] British National Party would colonize the story for its own ends,” she was quoted by the Wall Street Journal.

A former Labour MP for Rotherham, Denis MacShane reportedly said he might not have done enough about child sexual exploitation in his constituency because he was a “Guardian-reading liberal leftie.”

In casually-hurled words, he said he thinks there was a culture of “not wanting to rock the multicultural community boat”.

Another former Labour Party MP for Keighley said she was silenced by some of the members of her own party even as she kept her balance by taking on the far-right in her statement to The Guardian.

Ann Cryer said, “They (the victims) thought these lads were their boyfriends. They thought they were going to get married. But no. Most of these lads were already married to a cousin from Pakistan.”

When Cryer reportedly attempted to get the Pakistani community to condemn the rapes. She asked her Muslim friend to approach the mosque. Her friend said to the imams and elders at the mosque, “Ann Cryer would like you to go around to these families and explain that this behavior is totally un-Islamic.” The response her friend received was, “Go back to Ann Cryer and tell her it has nothing to do with us.”

Political correctness touched new heights till as recently as 2020 when the Home Office published a report whitewashing the role of Pakistani/Muslims in operating grooming gangs. It read, “Research has found that group-based child sexual exploitation offenders are most commonly white.”

Instead of shedding light on why the cases concerning Pakistani/Muslim accused were rubbished even when they were named by the victims in some cases, the report rather focused on suggesting the point not-all-Muslim-men by saying “most commonly white men”. In a way, the UK Home Office report did exactly what the local authorities at Rotherham, Rochdale, Telford, etc did; conceal the ethnic identity of the accused.

So far did the entire system go to silence the victims that their backgrounds and troubled family history were used against them in order to dismiss their charges. Former chair of the Greater Manchester Police Federation, Ian Hanson had also hinted at political pressures that controlled the police in such cases.

The accused knew the West’s weakness & the British authorities played right into it
It must put the entire United Kingdom to shame that the ring leader of the Rochdale grooming gang attempted to play the exact race card in his defense which they tried to keep concealed over the years to prevent labeling, riots, and whatnot.

Shabir Ahmed, during his trial, had used the “racism” card in court saying that there was a conspiracy to scapegoat Muslims. He made the victims call him “Daddy” and reportedly told one victim, “Please don’t cry…I love you”. To top it off, he called the victims “prostitutes running a business empire”. Ahmed was, like most other accused, another British Pakistani.

In 2017, this jailed terrorist stamped on a fellow prisoner’s face in a fit of rage when he heard the latter say that the bombers of the Brussels terror attack should be eradicated. But what blows one’s mind is that just last year, he was made the “equalities representative” at HMP Wakefield, a maximum security prison where he is serving a 22-year jail term, a move reportedly intended to “improve the behavior of the inmates”.

This is the perfect symptom of the disease called “wishful thinking” which is ailing the West at large; a disease that it wants to spread to the Indian soil too through its propagandist media, virtue-signaling left liberals, holier than thou “educational” universities, and hypocrite politicians.

Considering the extent to which the system went in order to cover the ethnicity of the jihadis, it is safe to assume or fear that their very Pakistani descent was the reason for granting the Rotherham accused half a million pounds in legal aid. This whopping amount to the rapists was given from the British taxpayers’ money while the victims remained uncompensated.

Attempts to silence whistleblowers
In 2015, the Greater Manchester police admitted having failed to recognize the scale of the abuse. A former Detective Constable, Margaret Oliver (aka Maggie Oliver) resigned from the Greater Manchester police force in 2013 over the treatment of such crimes. “This is not just a problem with Greater Manchester – it’s a national problem and the powers-that-be are more concerned with protecting their reputations than really getting to grips with it”, she reportedly said.

Oliver was part of Operation Augusta in 2004 which was abandoned despite producing a long list of 200 suspects among whom was a serving police officer. The operation was shut down in 2005. “It was a virtual carbon copy of Rochdale, men of largely Pakistani heritage were abusing vulnerable white girls, in Hulme and around the Curry Mile in Rusholme. I was on that job for a year and a half. It was a huge investigation”, Oliver reportedly said.

In Telford, two whistleblowers who wanted to raise the issue were silenced. Cop Keith Osmund-Smith was suspended for sharing information with the media while sex abuse charity Axis Counselling fired a woman for trying to speak up, fearing funding cuts.

The majority of the charity’s funding comes from West Mercia police and crime commissioner, John Champion who opposed calls from MP Lucy Allan demanding a Rotherham-like inquiry into Telford child sexual abuse cases.
