TESTIMONIES FROM SURVIVORS OF THE EL-FASHER MASSACRE

“The RSF killed my sons. All of them. Seven sons - they left me with nothing. Our little boys are all dead.”

Heartbreaking video footage of survivors providing testimonies explaining how the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) indiscriminately k*lled and kidnapped innocent civilians in El-Fasher, Sudan, after the city fell under RSF control on 26 October, 2025.

On 26 October 2025, the UAE-backed RSF m*ssacred at least 1,500 people, according to the Sudan Doctors Network. However, some online reports suggest that this figure could be as high as 2,500, with satellite images of mass graves suggesting the true number is likely to be much higher than that. In the days to follow, videos began to circulate online of militia representing the RSF chasing women, running over men and mocking large groups of unarmed people who appeared to be civilians before ex*cuting them on camera.  

The RSF is led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as "Hemedti”. An investigative piece released by The New York Times in September 2024 revealed how modern weapons, including sophisticated drones, were transported to the RSF via an airstrip and supply base built by the UAE in Somalia.

According to Tom Perriello, a former U.S. envoy, at least 150,000 people across Sudan had been killed by 2024, a figure that is expected to be much higher today.

Within days of the El-Fasher massacre, large crowds of people took to the streets from London to Washington to express their outrage and call out the public and private actors contributing to and benefiting from the violence in Sudan.
