NO, THIS IS NOT THE END OF MALI

Mali's capital city, Bamako, has been under siege throughout October 2025 following t*rrorist assaults on fuel tankers. While Western and international media outlets are reporting that this is the end of Mali as we know it, local voices within the country are more confident in the state's ability to recover. Mali, along with Burkina Faso and Niger, is part of the anti-imperialist Pan-African confederation known as the Alliance of Sahel States.

Founded as a confederation in 2024, the three countries have ended all military collaboration with France, whom they accuse of supporting t*rrorist groups operating in the region. The three countries have agreed to mutual defence and security measures and greater cooperation with non-NATO member states such as Russia.

These new policies led to the liberation of eastern Mali and western Burkina Faso, as well as the liberation of the Kidal city and region of Mali, once a t*rrorist stronghold.
