I am a 32-year-old investor trying to find a way to reach financial freedom through simple options trading. I don't want to wait 30 years and rely on Social Security when it is time for me to stop working. The Goal is to generate income. Harvester Rules for trading:
1. Red markets: never sell CCs below buy-in point. Extend expirations instead
2. Green markets: sell CCs 1-2 dollars away from at the money (as long as this is above the buy-in point)
3. CSPs: I choose a delta of 0.2- 0.3 (I only look at Deltas for CSPs)
4. Buy good investments! (I only like buying the top 10 stocks in U.S. and ETFs) I dont care for up-and-coming stock, I am choosing the winners of today.
5. Limited to no technical analysis. Not necessary if you invest in market leaders or ETFs
