Maximizing Website Traffic with AI and AEO Strategies

Hey, there! Andrew Anderson here. So, AI, AEO, and AI searches. So, if you don't have this on your website, this is something that you need to absolutely, positively do. Okay? Because what's going on is, and this is on one of our sites that we have, and this is, we just got this installed and figured out how what we wanted to do with this.
So, this is pulling in all of the searches and visits from AI. Okay? So, if you don't have these set up, you're not going to get these visitors.
So, let's see here. We've had 16 views, so there's more than one there. So, if we add these up, let's just, we'll do this on the view. So, we've got Anthropic, Claude, and these other ones.
So, we've got 16, plus that, we got 27, we got 36, 39, 42, 42, 44, 45 visits from AI bots searches. Okay. And Amazon, and there'll be more in here. We're adding more. So, we've gotten 45 visits to our website out of the blue that don't involve Google, that don't involve Bing per se. Now, this is a Bing bot, but this is their AI setup. This isn't a normal Bing search.
And so we got 45 visitors out of basically thin air that our competition, more likely your competition, isn't getting. And this is, I don't think we've had this. This is ONLY TWO DAYS OLD.
And so anyway, I just, if you're not in AEO, if your agency isn't telling you about this stuff, you need to get on it. Okay? It doesn't have to be us, but make sure you figure out how to get AEO. It is going to come fast. It's going to come furious. We've been beating this drum for a couple years now.
And I just was talking with Perry Belcher, and basically what's going to happen is it's going to make the last two years, the next six months, there will be more changes in the next six months than there was in the last two years, and probably in the next three months. It's going to get wide open. A lot of these people are going to get totally creamed that are just depending on SEO, and the ones that get their act on AEO now are going to end up ruling the roost. And it is a lot harder to crack the AEO rankings, and the suggestions that is for SEO, not to get it now, but to move someone out.
And it is the wild, wild west. This is like SEO was 15, 20 years ago, where you could just throw some stuff on a page, and you would, the people that had no clue, they weren't getting the business, and you can get a ton of it. You could do the same with AEO right now.

I know there's a lot of people, "agencies" out there that are saying they do this stuff, but we just got recertified. There's probably, I would say 300 of us, maybe 400 of us around the world that maybe are on the cutting edge of this stuff.
And the big agencies are still thinking that this is the same as the SEO. They're telling you the only thing that you need to do is schema, right? That is furthest thing from the truth. Do you need schema? Yes. But is that the only thing you need to do? Is that the magical elixir that's going to help you rank for AEO? Absolutely flip a knot.
I go in there. You're going to need schema. You need your mobile site speed as fast as you possibly can under two seconds. You need your, it needs to be accessible. You need to have ADA compliance in there. You need to have your SEO and your best practices on your website. And then you have to do about 10 other things to get this done.
It's easy now, and if you get in here now, you can put up a glass ceiling that's made outta bulletproof glass, and people will not be able to penetrate it.
So, it is wide, wide, wide, wide, wide open. Very few companies have, I would say less than every 1,000 agencies have a clue as to really what's going on. And they're scrambling hard because they haven't been putting in the work for the past two years, but if you can figure this out yourself, if you can get your site set up for AEO, and you do the things to maintain it, you're going to be unassailable.
And the kicker is the big guys are clueless on this. I don't care how big your competition is, if you've got someone in your local marketer, and they're the number one for SEO forever, you can crush them. You can absolutely crush them because on AEO, less than 7% of the answers that come up in the AEO are on the first page of Google. Less than 7%.
So, basically 93%, it's close to, 6%, it's even lower than that, but let's just say 93% of the results are not on SEO to be found in the first 10 pages even, usually. Definitely not on the first one.
