𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗗𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝟮𝟲𝟯 - 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗜𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗖𝗛

𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲—𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲?

𝗦𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 is one of the most difficult and most necessary topics believers must face. In 𝟭 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟱, Paul moves from encouraging spiritual maturity to confronting a painful truth: the Corinthian church had allowed open sin to take root, and worse… they were proud of their tolerance.

In this week’s episode, we unpack why confronting sin is an act of love, why ignoring it destroys a church’s witness, and how biblical discipline leads not to rejection but to restoration.

Paul’s message cuts deep, not to shame us, but to call us back to holiness.

📖 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲:
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 “𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁” 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆
How the Corinthian believers confused grace with indifference and how we often do the same.
• 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀
Real grace pulls us out of sin, not comforts us in it.
• 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲
And how a church can lose its spiritual authority when it becomes broad-minded instead of Christ-minded.
• 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 “𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻”
A difficult but redemptive act designed to bring a wandering believer back home.
• 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹—𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵-𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
A little leaven truly leavens the whole lump.
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵: 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀
In 2 Corinthians, we see this very man repent and return—proof that God’s way works.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗪𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵:
✨ Do we show more love by staying silent, or by confronting sin with gentleness and truth?
✨ How does pride make us resistant to repentance?
✨ What happens to a church’s witness when it condemns the world but refuses to correct itself?
✨ Are there “old leavens” we’ve allowed to linger in our own lives?
✨ Have we confused being loving with being passive?

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹:
💬 Have we grown comfortable with sin?
💬 Are we willing to be instruments of both grace and truth?
💬 And will we love others enough to restore not ignore?

👉 Watch now and let God realign your heart toward holiness, love, and courage.

A healthy church is not one without sin, it’s one that deals with sin God’s way.
