BAIER: “I will ask you more about that in a second. Here is, just some hints about maybe some of the behind-the-scenes conversation on that Abraham Accords movement.”

[Clip starts]

reporter: “Are you going to bring up the Abraham Accords in your discussion?”

Trump: “I already brought them up.”

reporter: “What did you say?”

Trump: “I think I got a positive response.”

BIN SALMAN: “We want to be part of the Abraham Accord, but we want to also to be sure that we secure a clear path of two-state solution. Today we have healthy discussion with Mr. President, that we are going to work on that to be sure that we can prepare the right situation as soon as possible to have that.”

[Clip ends]

BAIER: “And we said the other day that this movement at the United Nations actually sets the blueprint, the table for maybe moving forward if Gaza settles down.”

HUME: “Yeah, in that matter that the U.N. just agreed to, endorses the president’s plan for peace in the Middle East and the references, there are references in there to a path to a two-state situation, but it’s pretty vague. And I’m not at all convinced that Crown Prince Salman will insist that there be some ironclad guarantee of a two-state situation and the granting of a state to the Palestinians. I think he would probably settle for some apparent movement in that direction.”

BAIER: “Right.”

HUME: “And if he then joins the Abraham Accords, it’s a new situation.”

BAIER: “Yeah, maybe just a pathway towards that before he signs on.”
