Is Meredith actually Pam Beasley from an alternate timeline? One where Pam followed through and married Roy? This video on my personal The Office fan theory will break down all of the evidence I've found that Meredith stands as an allegory for what Pam's life would have been like if she had married Roy. From the Lice episode, to Bring Your Daughter to Work Day, to the Halloween episode featuring Robert California, the show seems to very consistently drop hints that Meredith and Pam's lives are only separated by a few decisions.
