Job 19:22 & 28 Listen For The Truth Even If It Hurts.

English Description
“Why do you persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?” (Job 19:22).
Job’s friends judged him like they were God—piling on when he was already crushed. Job tells them plainly what they should have said: “Why persecute we him? seeing the root of the matter is found in me.” (Job 19:28).
The same pattern appears in Christ’s earthly ministry. When Jesus told the truth about man’s real condition, the leaders sought to kill Him (John 8:37, 40). He stood firm anyway—because He is Grace and Truth personified (John 1:17; John 8:44).
In a generation drowning in feelings, in “my truth,” in relative truth, Jesus calls you back to the truth—the truth about yourself, the truth about Him, and the truth that can make you free. The truth may cut, but it cuts to save.
