In the war in Ukraine, Moscow continues to gain ground, decimating Kyiv's defense and energy capabilities. Vladimir Putin stated yesterday that Russian forces have captured more than 3,000 square miles so far by 2025.
Meanwhile, the major concern is US President Donald J. Trump's apparent decision to supply Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles.
During the nearly four-year war, many 'Wunderwaffes' (wonder weapons) have emerged, weapon systems that were supposed to be a 'game-changer' for the regime in Kiev.
But whether it was Javelins, Leopard tanks, Storm Shadows or F-16s, no weapon has changed the fact that Russia is winning the war and Ukraine is crumbling militarily, economically and demographically.
But the Tomahawks have a longer range and could potentially carry nuclear warheads, so that's a recipe for disaster.
A Ukrainian insider has said that delivery of the missiles could take months and that they may never leave their launch sites.
With a range of 1,600 miles, the Russian capital Moscow is within range of the Tomahawk.
Putin has warned Trump that the move could destroy the recovering relationship with Washington.
