An old football stadium in Taiwan has been converted into a vegetable garden

Taipei's Zhongshan Stadium was used for its original purpose from 1989 to 2008, after which it was closed due to the infrequent hosting of matches and its failure to meet modern standards. The building itself, however, was not demolished, but converted into a public garden. Locals were allowed to grow plants right in the stands, and cafes and a farmers' market were opened nearby.
