Two collars but only one leash wasn't secure enough. I got lucky again tonight & Rayo didn't escape again. Next doggie walk, I'll put two leashes & two collars on Rayo .. it'll be a lot more secure. After a while(by the videos end) Rayo was getting pretty scared. I guess he got more & more scared as his time at our midway rest area grew. I tried to console him whenever he jumped up on my wheelchair but I guess I wasn't relieving his fears strong enough. I've been increasing the amount of time Rayo spends on the ground & not in my wheelchair. This not allowing him in my lap too often may have helped build up or add to his worries. I put Rayo in my lap on our way home. P.S. I guess trying not to force him in scary situations has been beneficial, he came solely on his own to my wheelchair 2 days after this night doggie walk, & allowed me to pet him for the first time without running away .. baby steps .. baby steps❤️
