Hakeem Jeffries Didn't Mention The Truth That His Campaign Was Soliciting Money From Epstein In 2013

Posted • November 18, 2025: The fact that there's a whole lot of foolishness that routinely takes place on the House floor means there is rarely a dull moment. That has been exactly how things have played out over the last week between the vote to reopen the government and the Democrat yada yadaing over releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files. The House indeed voted Tuesday to release the files in a 427-1 vote, with the sole dissenter being Rep. Clay Higgins (LA-03). The Senate passed it via unanimous consent. Relatedly, Rep. Jamie Raskin (MD-08) defended Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) texting with convicted sexual predator Epstein during a 2019 congressional hearing by suggesting Epstein was merely a random constituent of hers at the time. "They've arraigned a Democrat member for taking a phone call from her constituent, Jeffrey Epstein, in the middle of a hearing. And of course I don't think there's any rule here against taking phone calls in a hearing," Raskin insultingly proclaimed.

Though that was about as pathetic as it gets, something that was intriguing to learn during the debate on the Epstein legislation was the Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) connection to Epstein. As revealed by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (KY-01), apparently, there was a solicitation in 2013 by a Democrat consulting firm for Epstein to appear at a Jeffries aka "Brooklyn's Barack" campaign fundraiser for a possible private meeting. This was five years after Epstein's 2008 sex offense convictions: “And, unsurprisingly, Democrats have been silent about their colleague’s coordination with Epstein. Another email shows Democrat fundraisers invited Epstein to an event, or to meet privately with Hakeem Jeffries, as part of their 2013 effort to win a majority. So Hakeem Jeffries' campaign solicited money from Jeffrey Epstein. That's what we found in the last document batch.” 🚨 Hakeem Jeffries EXPOSED for requesting a MEETING & donations from Epstein AFTER he was a known sex predator.

Oversight Committee @GOPoversight: “Hakeem has been on a media tour the last few days on Epstein, but refuses to condemn Stacey Plaskett. Epstein documents reveal that Hakeem's consulting firm reached out to Jeffrey Epstein to arrange a dinner between them. Is "Brooklyn's Barack" telling us everything he knows?” https://pbs.twimg.com/media/G6DrMu_XIAADFIo?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 —— Rep. James Comer @RepJamesComer: “👀 Maybe this is why House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries refuses to condemn Democrat Rep. Plaskett for colluding with Jeffrey Epstein.” —— This had Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) wondering where Epstein and Jeffries met: “Where did Hakeem Jeffries a/k/a “Brooklyn's Barack” meet with Epstein?” The Democrat House Minority Leader has repeatedly stated in recent weeks that "the American people just deserve the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" about what's in the files, and yet… The truth Hakeem hadn’t mentioned: His campaign was soliciting money from Epstein in 2013, who was convicted years earlier.
