Catholic Daily Readings and Reflection | Wednesday of the Thirty-third Week in Ordinary Time | November 19, 2025

A nobleman gave three servants each one gold coin and said engage these until I return. The first earned ten. The second earned five. The third wrapped his in a handkerchief. He said I was afraid of you because you are a demanding person. The master said from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. A mother watched seven sons die rather than compromise. She encouraged her youngest: accept death so in the time of mercy I may receive you again with your brothers. Fear of loss makes you paralyzed. Fear of God makes you faithful. Use what you have.
