We've Lost Ranges. Why It's Harder To Find Spots.

In most of my videos to date, I get asked "Where is there a spot to get some range time?" at least once. Mostly from people new to firearms, or people new to the state. Sad to say the answer to that has become a struggle for those of us still here.

It wasn't always this way, we used to have HUNDREDS of pits varying in size. Now... Not so much (and next year they are looking to make it worse).

Instead of designated target shooting areas, they are narrowing it down to 1 designated pit per "area". Now, are there still some areas the same as they used to be with multiple spots on a forest route, yes. But we are losing more every year.

The following link is to the map of the few they have "designated" for 700k+ hunters and CPL holders to utilize. https://www.trashnoland.org/map-of-places-to-shoot/
