President Donald Trump voiced his willingness to release the Epstein Files after urging GOP Congress members over the weekend to vote in favor of making any remaining documents available to the public.

"I think President Trump also realized what a huge distraction it was becoming to the other issues that he wants to focus on right now," said Daily Signal President Robert Bluey on CNN this morning. Bluey also asserted that the Epstein Files' controversy prevented the president from effectively communicating the positive effects of the Big Beautiful Bill Act, ultimately costing Republicans at the ballot box earlier this month.

"And so, President Trump, I think, recognizes that. He was going to lose this vote. There was pressure building in the Senate to take action on it. They obviously need 60 votes there, and so why stand in the way? Now I think it's a move that I agree with Massey, he should have made months ago."
