The jury is still out on whether the widespread use of Artificial Intelligence will be the greatest asset or mortal enemy of humankind. Based on past abuses of power by those in powerful positions, the outlook doesn't look very promising.
The fact that our so-called leaders have sought ever increasing control over the "little people" they are supposed to be serving gives pessimists and limited government true believers like myself small consolation, when recognizing the enormous potential for mischief by those guiding the ship of state.

Add to that concern the malevolent plans of communist dictatorships like the CCP; to control humanity and the world's natural resources, and you have the perfect storm for a technocratic oligarchy like nothing we could have ever dreamed possible.
