DANGEROUS winter weather this week. We have abnormally strong clipper system that's going to pass by the state today. The snow and blowing snow will continue through the day and will be heavy at times. Another 2-6" will fall with the highest totals to the SE near that lake enhanced area. This will bring general totals from 7-11", but where lake enhancement occurs to the SE, we could end up with over 12" in spots there. Lesser totals will fall to the far north. Highs today will top out in mid-teens in spots before dropping this afternoon. Most of the system should be out of here tonight, but that wind will still be cranking, blowing and drifting the snow around. Some lingering flurries and snow showers will still be possible, but won't be anything major. Tuesday is going to be a blustery and cold day with highs struggling to make it above 0. Wind chills will be between -15 and -25 through the day with a few flurries or a snow shower possible. We will have dangerous wind chills on Wednesday and Thursday mornings like we haven't seen in many, many winters.
