CS #95 HOLD THAT BABY-BOWERY BOYS

The film begins with the Bowery Boys—led by Slip Mahoney (Leo Gorcey) and Sach Jones (Huntz Hall)—opening a laundromat in the back of Louie's Sweet Shop. A young, recently widowed mother, Laura Andrews (Anabel Shaw), leaves her infant son in a laundry basket with the boys. She leaves a note explaining that she is trying to hide the baby from her greedy aunts, Faith (Ida Moore) and Hope (Florence Auer), who plan to steal the baby's inheritance.
The aunts, who have her committed to a sanitarium, hire gangsters to find the baby and prevent him from attending the will's reading. The Bowery Boys, after discovering the plot, embark on a plan to break the mother out of the sanitarium and ensure the baby receives his rightful inheritance.
