Demonstrations are being held in the Philippine capital, demanding accountability in a corruption scandal involving flood-control projects.
Top government officials, including allies of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, have been accused of pocketing funds for substandard or so-called ghost infrastructure.
The protests follow two powerful typhoons that left more than 250 people dead, many due to flooding.

Al Jazeera’s Barnaby Lo was at the protest site in Manila, Philippines.
