Charlie Sheen reveals Dr. Drew Pinsky inspired 2011's infamous "I'm bi-winning" rant on 20/20 •• Charlie Sheen is happy, health, and 8 years sober. But in 2011, he made headlines during an erratic interview when he told 20/20's Andrea Canning he wasn't bipolar, "I'm bi-winning" – a phrase that spawned remixes, merch, and viral memes. In an exclusive 11/13/2025 interview on Ask Dr. Drew, the now 8-years-sober Sheen revealed Dr. Drew Pinsky was the original inspiration behind his infamous rant. At the height of his addiction, the star – once the highest paid actor in America, reportedly making $1.8 million per episode of Two And A Half Men – even challenged Dr. Drew to a fight.
"I think me and Pinsky should jump in the ring and he should see how unstable these fists of flaming fury are," Sheen told KEARTH 101. "I'll show you how unstable I am. Bring it. Bring it, little man."
Today, Charlie Sheen has completely transformed. After an overdose and HIV diagnosis forced a reckoning, Charlie says he is now eight years sober and rebuilding his life. In his new memoir "The Book Of Sheen" (available at https://amzn.to/3XrRdtL) Charlie looks back on the costs of fame, addiction, and his inspiring journey back to reality.
