Demon Firesage you have to kill as quick as absolute possible at Level 1 or he will instantly kill you. Fire Tempest is your best bet here to drain most of his HP at the least. If Fire Tempest doesn't kill Demon Firesage on its own just do an R2 attack with the Blacksmith Giant Hammer +5 when he's open like you see here.
