Independent School Board Candidate Jumps in Race for Congress'

WASHINGTON (November 17, 2025)—Pundits and pollsters are still spinning the wins for Democrats and losses for Republicans, but one of 22,000 school board candidates who had run during another year in which education had been reported to be a priority has launched another bid for U.S. Congress, challenging incumbent Don Beyer, Jr., and whoever emerges as a candidate for the Republicans primary in June, after the daunting task of soliciting at least a thousand signatures between January and early April. However, Major Mike Webb has until mid-June, and plenty of experience at canvassing and knocking on doors, perhaps contributing to the extraordinary interest generated for his campaign website, still amongst the top ten percent of political websites in the world, still holding over 3,000 unique visitors in the last 30 days.
