Edward Arthur Wilson, a.k.a. Brother XII, was born in Birmingham, England, which is a fine place to be born if you like soot and disappointment. He grew up, read some Theosophy, and decided that being a welder wasn’t nearly as exciting as being the twelfth emissary of the Great White Brotherhood—a cosmic club of ascended masters who apparently needed a British guy with a beard and a messiah complex.
