Keep Silence Before Me

Isaiah 41 is a chapter of comfort for the believer on Jesus Christ. Our God is great, greater than anyone and anything. And in this chapter, the LORD is calling out to the islands and the people. With the word “island”, the LORD is not referring to land masses in the middle of a body of water, but He is speaking to nations. Genesis 10:5 shows you this: Genesis 10:5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. Too often there is too much talking going on, there are too many distractions around and people do not know to just stop and listen to what God is telling them through His Word. God speaks to you through His Word and we need to be willing to humble ourselves enough to listen. People are unwilling to listen and they fail to understand that their eternal salvation is at stake. They know the truth is being presented to them, but they do not want to consider the consequences of their words and actions.
