WITH JESUS, IT’S ALWAYS WORTH THE COST

Luke 9:23-24 New King James Version
23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross [a]daily, and follow Me. 24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
Believe it or not guys, there is a cost to following Jesus, and sometimes that cost can be pretty steep. I’ve been thinking about this issue over the last couple of months, and especially in light of what happened to Charlie Kirk, and I often wonder if I am willing to count that cost. I think about what happened to that man, I think about what is happening to Christians around the world especially in Nigeria right now, and all I can do is ask God please give me the courage to stand up for my faith even if it does cost me my life! I don't want to follow Jesus for what I can get from Him, but I want to follow Jesus for Jesus! The things that He’ll be able to do for me is great, but I want to know my savior! I want to live in the knowledge, the fact that there is nothing better than following and knowing Jesus, so I'm gonna make sure that my eyes are set on Him.

I think that's why this first question out of this morning's devotional is challenging my heart so much right now, and I need to share it with you tonight. Please read this question carefully, and I pray that God speaks to your heart through it too.

What has believing in and following Jesus cost you?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things God has put on my heart concerning what it means to follow Jesus, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you listen carefully to what I have to say. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it encourages you to truly follow Jesus.

Why is nothing worth more than truly knowing and following Him?

My prayer for all of you tonight, is that you think very carefully about what it means to follow Jesus. What it means to give your heart, soul, and everything to Him, and that you willingly do it. Ask God to help you realize how important it is to live for Him above anything and everyone else, and that you remember that nothing can ever compare with the goodness of knowing Christ! It’s so well worth it!
