Kat Cammack on Another Gov’t Shutdown: We Won’t Have the Votes in January for a Redo of a Ridiculous Shutdown

BARTIROMO: “Are you expecting another shutdown at the end of January.”

Cammack: “I been around long enough to know that you can’t take anyone to the bank in Washington. What we did was a three appropriation bills and we would love to see the remaining nine get through that’s what we gotta be focused on into January 30, there’s going to be sticking points but people need to recognize this will be the first time and 30 years plus that we have returned to regular order if we can actually get these appropriation bills across the finish line through the Senate. That would be a game changer, we have not seen that it’s been a combination of crs and omnibus and calm the bus, that’s not good for the long-term health of the economy it is not good for industry or anybody. I am cautiously optimistic. I don’t think we would have the votes moving forward in January of this ridiculous shutdown.”
