Suspect arrested as hours-long hostage situation in Lackawanna ends

Police said the incident, which took place at a home near the corner of Lebanon Street and Steelawanna Avenue in Lackawanna, began when 27-year-old Christopher Marchese beat his 42-year-old female significant other for two hours before authorities arrived on scene.
