Fears of Woke Messaging in Zootopia 2 | Early Reactions Describe “Social Commentary”

Early reactions are coming in for Zootopia 2 and some are concerned with the film being described as having “timely social commentary.”

It’s unclear what that means exactly, but parents have shown over the last few years that they are less inclined to take their kids to see Disney movies in theaters if they feel they will have to have conversation of a political nature with their kids afterwards. Disney understands that themselves which is why the company has been trying to remove political themes from many of their family movies; however, maybe some things are still present in Zootopia 2 that will be off putting to large portions of the audience.
