I entered the Bradley Hall Pass the Pick 2 Challenge and had fun writing this cool solo and wanted to share it with you and also share some tips on how I structure the guitar solo, my thought process as I was writing it and also how I decided to flesh it out, and some challenges that I faced and how I overcame them while working on this guitar solo. Ultimately, there are a million different ways to write solos so your results, phrasing, and flavor will undoubtedly vary, but if you play with passion, know your limits (and push those boundaries through practice), and play to your strengths, you will come up with some great expressive music. I hope you enjoy my entry and this cool little solo. There's lots of licks you can find within these shapes so even if you don't want to play this guitar solo as it is, I'm sure there'll be a few nuggets of wisdom you can take away from this tutorial.
