On November 16, 2005, already anticipating the demise of Dick Cheney and the neocons, Lyndon LaRouche delivered this tour de force presentation titled "The Tasks That Face Us in the Post-Cheney Era." LaRouche laid out how the U.S. went from the most powerful, productive economy in history under FDR to a post-industrial rubble heap hell-bent on endless wars, and how only a revival of the American System would be able to rebuild it and a establish a new, just world economic system for the next 50-100 years. While LaRouche's ideas were being systematically censored and his campaigns slandered, Americans allowed themselves to be duped into accepting psychotic monetarist dogmas and slave-labor free trade agreements, all in the name of corporate globalization. LaRouche's analysis and solutions are as valid today as they were twenty years ago, but time is running out.
