Mario Land VB was a canceled Super Mario game, originally planned for the Virtual Boy. A playable demo, featuring a single level, was shown at the 1995 Winter Consumer Electronics Show.

The game was intended to be a 2D side-scroller with 3D perspectives, allowing movement between the background and foreground. Mario would have been the main character, with classic Super Mario Bros. elements like pipes, Koopa Troopas, Goombas, Jumping Piranha Plants, and ? Blocks. While the story wasn't revealed, the demo included a Wario-like figure that acted like a Thwomp. Overhead views, similar to The Legend of Zelda, were also planned for certain areas. The level ended with Mario entering a castle at the flagpole.

A 3D version of Mario Bros. was considered for VB Mario Land as a minigame but was released as Mario Clash.
