Go as far as you want in this. It gets into the weeds of just how idiotic the Tippit story is. DPD solves two murders in 2 hours, after sending the entire force to find the guy who watched a movie without paying.

Official story Quick gist is Oswald went to Oak Cliff neighborhood after the JFK hit, and that's where the Tippit encounter, boarding house, gas station nd theater were.
[EDIT: This part in the brackets happened 2 days earlier- Oswald also left there in the morning, and got mad at the waitress over his eggs in Oak Cliff in the 10 o'clock a.m. hour, when he was supposed to be clocked in at the TSBD in DP.
But like most of Oak Cliff this could be a planted story. The waitress said the eggs were too runny for Oswald, but the cook said they were too hard.
On the morning of, a liquor store clerk not far from Dealey Plaza claimed to remember him buying beer and then an hour later, peanut brittle (he'd slept at Marina's/the Paines'):

JFK shot, then Oswald or someone posing as him walked to bus stop from the TSBD, got off due to traffic jam caused by the assassination and took a cab instead to Oak Cliff where he roomed. He went into his room, got his gun and jacket, walked out in the direction of the movie theater taking a side street to be less visible, and while walking encountered Tippit/was pulled over by him and shot him across the hood of the police car, then ditched his jacket at the gas station and walked to the theater.

-I will say that it makes sense to me that a spy would have multiple wallets, what doesnt make sense is bringing two on the same trip nor leaving a wallet at the crime scene (unless someone left if to implicate Oswald as it plainly appears was the case)
