The 20th Century-Fox Hour: The Miracle on 34th Street, S1E6, Dec 14, 1955

A department shop Santa Claus named One Kris Kringle creates quite a stir when he advises people to make their purchases at a competitor's store. However, this pales in comparison to the commotion he creates when he declares that he is the real McCoy and not just a fictional St. Nick.  In this 1955 one-hour television version of the film. The inebriated Santa was completely absent from this version. It aired as an episode of The 20th Century Fox Hour under the title The Miracle on 34th Street. "Meet Mr. Kringle" was the subsequent re-run.
