Ukrainian Marine Commandoes Surrender to Russian Military in Donbas

Times of India documents the result of one of five cauldrons in the Russia/Ukraine conflict, this one achieving a safe and "alive" status for an entire group that was fully encircled. Though this condition may sound dire, in the case of the Ukrainian forces, the encirclement was a huge advantage. The shadow forces that always take a position behind the advancing line to ensure their demise if they should attempt escape were no longer in contact with these troops. That made the decision to follow the Russian terms of surrender a no-brainer. Now they are safe, eating, smoking cigarettes, and relieved to be out of this war.
