Today’s video is serious: I’m reacting to a tweet directed at me where someone literally called for my de*th—and the de*ths of other meme-creators—just because we posted a meme. I’ll walk you through the message, explain how I feel, and talk about why this kind of harassment doesn’t just affect one person—it scares creators everywhere. But I’ll also make one thing clear: I will not stop creating.

In this reaction I cover:

Why I’m critical of the user: Threatening violence over harmless content is unacceptable and must be called out. What this means for creators everywhere: If you’re afraid of getting threats just for posting light content, you’ll self-censor. That’s bad for all of us.

Posting a meme is a form of creative expression. It’s supposed to be fun, cultural commentary, visual humour—not an invitation for violence. Creators deserve a space to express themselves without fearing de*th threats.

The tweet wasn’t “I disagree with your meme” or “I dislike your post”—it escalated to “kill you and all meme-artists.” That is harassment, intimidation and violence disguised as commentary. Allowing this kind of response without pushback normalises threats against creators.

Creators who face threats over harmless content might stop posting entirely or tone down their creativity. That means less variety, less risk, less art. When one person is threatened, it sends a message: “You could be next.” That culture chills creativity.
